Four new 7' foot conventional models designed by Southern Kingfish Association champion Dave Workman Jr. Specially engineered actions for casting, trolling and working live baits for king mackerel - great for the tournament pro or weekend warrior! Lustrous black fiberglass blanks are finished with black, blue and silver wrappings and exquisitely detailed diamond wraps. Two models feature Fuji® Hardloy® guides with foam grips, a nylon gimbal and Fuji graphite reel seat. The other two models feature all AFTCO® light roller guides and tip top, foam fore grip with a Penn Slick Butt™ and a rugged anodized aluminum reel seat and gimbal. Live bait Slammer® rods are made in the U.S.A. for uncompromising quality and performance. Conventional, but Far from Ordinary. Slammer® conventional models are excellent all around rods for saltwater casting, jigging, drifting, bottom fishing or light trolling. The series includes one piece rods, such as the SLC-2701AX, SLC-2661AX or SLC-2660AX and a two piece model - the SLC-2702AX. Cast a Spell on Bigger Gamefish. You can work some magic when casting baits or lures with a Slammer® spinning rod. Choose from one piece models like the SLS-2711L, SLS-2721H and SLS-2716M, or two piece rods such as the SLS-2712L or SLS-2722H. Each of these Slammers® features extra large, braced aluminum oxide guides and tip top. Models SLS-2721H and SLS-2722H have nylon gimbals with detachable butt caps. Penn Quality - From Tip to Butt.
